I have called numerous times for removal of a BOGUS monthly charge they keep deducting from my checking account. The lie every single time and tell me I won't be charged the next time.

I never signed up for this! I wanted one time help for a Power of Attorney document. I never asked for monthly anything!

Wow, the same thing is happening to me right now. I noticed I'm getting recurring monthly fees. I am really angry about this. I ordered a will for my Dad on his dying day back in September. He actually died before he could sign it. I agreed to the fee of $98.95 for the will, and now I've noticed that they are charging me $14.99 every month. This is disgusting. I am going to file a complaint with a consumer protection agency because if this is happening to a lot of people it is really REALLY WRONG. I guess because they are a bunch of lawyers they think that their fine print legalese can trick people and they can get away with it!

This is happening to me too. I created a will for my 75 year old dad and he is now being charged monthly - which I never agreed to.

I just spoke with a RUDE customer service rep who refused to let me speak to a supervisor, talked over me and put me on hold for over 10 minutes to just tell me there are no supervisors available.

I really thought LZ was a great option - now they are just ripping off senior citizens.

We're sorry to hear that you were being charged for a service that you were unaware of. The plan that you were enrolled into is a legal plan that entitles you to receive unlimited attorney consultations. If it's something that you specified you didn't want to participate in,that's our mistake.

I bought a company 'off the shelf' using Legal Zoom. And despite the fact that I've applied to dissolve the company, and told them repeatedly that I don't want ANY further services from them, they continue to try and charge me. I had to cancel the credit card i used to avoid them deducting charges. Outrageous. I'm amazed there aren't more complaints of this kind.
