I paid a thousand bucks for Legal Zoom's services in November to get non-profit paperwork filed and am just now getting close to being able to submit the paperwork that I signed up for help with. LegalZoom makes it sound like they will hold your hand through the process but all they do is ask you the same questions any form you would need to file with the state asks.     I used Legal Zoom to file my LLC just fine, at first. Seemed really easy and efficient. Two days later, I got a call saying that my first name choice was taken so could we use the second? Sure, no prob. Two (business) days later, I called to cancel the free Business Advantage month trial they offer everyone and change the cc on my account.     This is unbelievable. Legal zoom promises divorce for $300. We wasted 2.5 years. Now I am hiring a lawyer for $3500. Here are the issues: 1) Legal zoom is unable to customize the separation agreement.   • Failed to provide services which were paid for



    LegalZoom failed to see a conflict with our trademark before we submitted it to the USPTO. They let us submit a trademark that should never have been submitted, and are refusing to refund us for the services they did not provide.     I am extremely disappointed with the response of the Legal Zoom Support Escalation Department. I have used LegalZoom during the past couple of months to register both my LLC and to serve as my registered agent. On January 1st, 2013 I requested that they obtain my EIN number for the LLC.   • Didn't follow through



    This review has been resolved or replied to by this company. I set up two appointments with lawyers for consultation and both were missed, there were no calls at all. Then when trying to cancel the service which they didn't fulfill it was the most difficult process I have encountered. I entered the registration in my wife's name and used my credit card yet they refused to cancel the subscription.     I signed up for a trial to consult a lawyer on an issue with our brand name in Apr 2012. Unfortunately the lawyer consulted was not knowledgeable and quoted extremely high rates. I told them we are not interested in working with them and went to a local law firm. Cancelled my membership within trial period and as such I would not have incurred any charge as per legal zoom guarantee.   • Unauthorized Charges



    This ticket has been resolved or replied to by this company. I created a corporation with Legalzoom and Have repeatedly contacted Legal Zoom cancel unauthorized services for over three months now. The customer service contact has never answered the phoneline provided, does not return phonecalls and has not taken any steps to resolve my issue.     Legalzoom couldn’t even spell my company’s name right.     This review has been resolved or replied to by this company. I ordered some forms at a cost of over $150 four weeks ago. About a week later I received a call that Legal Zoom needed more info and to call them back. I did call back twice, am now on hold for the third time. I'm working with them now and unfortunately i'm really disappointed in their services. 1) You call and you have to wait at least 30 min to speak with someone (their phone system doesn't tell you what place you are in line and the estimated wait time).     My husband recommended I use Legal-Zoom for a Power of Attorney I had to create to sell my car. I signed up and $40 later they created a very detailed form for me to use. I didn't end up using it because there was too much verbiage and what they wrote in 7 papers, I was able to condense in 1 page. I ended up using a template of M. Word!     Over 2 month ago I paid quite a sum of money for them to set up a LLC for me. The contract with them stated that it will take up to 35 days to get all my paperwork for the LLC. I never heard anything back on the status and on the website the status was blank too. Never ever anyone worked on it for 2 month.     Legalzoom is the worst company I have ever delt with a day in my life. I started a business through them and there doc were very hard to read with a lot of misleading fine print. I accidently checked something I shouldn't have and they started charging my card 12.99 a month.     When dealing with the business licenses portion/partner of legal everything is ok until you call and talk to a customer service rep.     I used Legal Zoom for a DBA filing. They filed it and then emailed me that the final paperwork had been returned by fed ex as refused by me. I emailed them to resend it. No answer. I followed up with another email. No answer. Another email, and they responded with the same initial email they had sent. 2 more emails over 4 days, ZERO response from them.     I paid $140 and completed their requested infomation for a name change. They refunded my money after a over a week, saying that the procedure in my county was too complicated. When I asked if they could explain what the "complicated" parts are so I would have a "heads up", they just said I needed to call the county circuit court. I created an S-Corp through them, which wasn't too bad. However, they are extremely sly about extra services like their "free-for-30-days" Business Advtange that they start billing you for and then act like you don't exist when e-mailing them requesting cancellation. I had to call to cancel the service, which was unacceptable if they tout themselves as a "dot-com" service and can't respond in a timely manner (if at all) to e-mail inquiries. A real attorney may cost a little more, but I'd advise using one instead of these guys because LegalZoom could care less about the relationship with you. Rather, it's all about the upsell of other services you probably don't need or want.

If any alternatives are available, please use them..... Legal Zoom has awful Customer Service. You are almost guaranteed to stay on hold for an hour if you call. Don't believe me? Try calling Customer Service BEFORE you ever order anything from this company. If you ask, they will tell you they are in the process of hiring more customer service agents..... they have been for years, they just can't seem to get them on the job! RUN FROM LEGAL ZOOM

I was considering using Legal Zoom until I learned they are a sponsor of Rush Limbaugh. That killed that idea. A friend of Rush's is no friend of mine.

i was working part-time with a trucking firm and drawing unemployment. I was having issues with another employee so i quit my job. I ran out of unemployment so i filed for the emergency unemploymet. I took another part-time trucking job and the state rejected my claim. Now i owe the state 1745.25 in over payments. Is this true or are they just being government stupid? A friend of mine that works for osha told me this does not sound right and wanted me to find out. In 2006 I had a checking account in Key West at Keys Federal Credit union. With a car note for a Toyota Solara 2006, having financial woes I borrowed $5000 dollars for my rent. Then $5000 dollars appeared in my checking account after I had sent word out that I was in need. No one stepped forward for several days, thinking it was from a close friend, but not sure I took a few hundred and deposited often to make it up. I later found that the BANK had made this mistake, by my brother who never told me what he had done until I called him some 2 weeks later But by not paying off my loan that my brother had put against his MasterCard for me. He, my brother never told me he did it until I told him some several weeks later that the loan payment was paid in a timely manner. He of course hit the ceiling and called the bank to ask about my paid out note of $5000.
They of course were embarrased and proceeded TO WALK MY BROTHER THROUGH MY CHECKING ACCOUNT, he and no one was privy to that. I worked for a bank for many years and know that your account is Hallo.
The bank then closed my account and the 2006 Toyota Solara that I had just bought with $10,000 dollars down amd 2 payments never late REPOED my car and all posessions. Costing me My checking account, my credit, my money of about $51,000. The largest hit I ever took. And of course my brother.
I do not have the dollars to fight this, but If my brother was to be in court he would out of maliciousness think he was hurting me , but in retrospect he would hang the BANK and Mrs Coleman
Where do I go from here?

i like to know if you help disability indivuals that suffered epilepsy and was forced againts there will to drink anti-psychiatrict medications in order to recieve custody of their daughter i have all information of medications i was forced to take from the two programs i was in from august1988-may1995 and second program named h.o.p.e.s from may 1998-august 2005 i did file on time though the item is that i was never given the oppurtunity to go to court or change my misdiagnosis of schizophrenia that the court said remember all my life i have suffered from epilepsy and i can prove it and have all documents also if need anthing else i have so much evidence you can reach me at moralesmark56@yahoo.com
